Arcos provides a variety of powerful and cost effective transmission units that enables, inputs in real time (IP) or off-line stored media, and creates a DVB/ATSC compliant protocol on QPSK/QAM RF output that supports HDTV and SDTV broadcasting standards.

The unique system architecture of Hardware cores and Software suit provides an integrative platform includes an embedded CPU, MPEG-2/4 Multiplexing engine, DVB/DSS Encoding and signal processing, Low cost Modulator / Up-Converter and a variety of interfaces. The system capabilities include remuxing and manipulation of encrypted TS and supports a variety of output frequencies.

  • An additional sub system for a full duplex communication channel can be easily integrated through UART interface to support command and control channel to peripherals terminals.
  • 3rd party integration to a typical multimedia platform is achieved through standard platform interfaces i.e. USB 2.0, Ethernet 10/100 or PCI interfaces.

The line of products was designated to integrate to consumer applications like Multi Room DVR and Home Gateway, and to be utilized as a Narrowcast streaming solutions and Head-End in a Box for DTV application developers.

HVN- Home Video Network approach
The company's revolutionary system, Arcos HVN delivers a compatible and powerful embedded home networking platform that enables distribution of digital transmissions of multi programs stream all over the house, overcoming the need for new infrastructure installation. Using Arcos’ HVN solution enables subscribers to have reliable access from every room in the house to the Media center and vise versa, for video sharing.

VS- Video Streaming
The video streaming solution was introduced as digital TS generator that provides Multi Programs Transport Streams (MPTS) to serve multiple clients DVB/ATSC STBs as a broadcast unit. The VS solution can be implement in mid range video distribution systems such as Buildings, Hotel pay TV and students campuses. In addition, it can be located in Digital TV development Labs for testing and demonstrating their DTV products.
